In Internet Explorer select Tools and then Internet Options. Then select the Advanced tab. Scroll down to the Microsoft VM category. Make sure that Java Console is enabled.
If you do not have a Microsoft VM category, then you need to install the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine.
NOTE: Make sure that it says Microsoft VM. If it just says Java Virtual Machine or anything else to that effect, then you do not have the Microsoft Virtual Machine.
You will need to download and install it.
