In Windows Control Panel select Display Properties. Then select the Settings tab. Make sure that Screen Resolution is at least 800X600 and that Color Quality is at least 16 Bit.
If you are unable to change your computer to at least those settings, then you will need to update your system in order for the program to run properly.
